With 25 years of managerial experience, Steve has a great way of managing his team to get them as engaged and efficient as possible! Having worked for Maplin Electronics for 25 years, Steve has always been an electronics enthusiast. He has built his own custom made drones previously and has a great eye for detail. Steve was also responsible for developing and delivering the drone training package to Maplin staff to update them on commerciality and legal entities within the drone world. Steve has been flying drones since 2013 but has always had a keen interest in photography and post-production.


Simon Spratley

Deputy Accountable Manager

UAV Pilot/ Instructor /UAV Technical Maintainer

Worked as draftsperson using GIS mapping. 8 months working for Saab Seaeye in the research engineering department on the new Jaguar (ROV) as a mechanical fitter and operator. 13 years as a weapons operator and maintenance engineer with the Royal Navy. Operating and instructing the Royal Navy’s new Seafox Mine Disposal system (ROV). Trained as a Warfare maintainer engineer at HMS Collingwood.

Tom Bishop

Business Administrator

Ba Hons Theatre Production from Canterbury Christ Church University. Tom has worked in various technical industries, from technical theatre, electronics retail to video production. Having worked with various production systems in the past, Tom is the perfect addition to our team for video production and creation. Tom is also in charge of our Social Media streams keeping all of our followers and clients up-to-date with our recent works and projects.

BSc (Hon’s) Founded the ATEC-3D in 2012. An Environmental Manager at Tri-Star Resources plc, He has 10 years’ experience with in Environmental Baseline Studies, Ecological and Environmental practices. 2 years on-going Tri-Star Resources (Environmental Manager); 5 years Teaching (Science KS3 co-ordinator); Environmental processes, Ecology and General Sciences Inc. Environmental Consulting; 3 years Crew Gold Corporation (Environmental Scientist), Nalunaq, Rio Narcea (Spain), Seqi (Greenland, Olivine); 6 months Junior Environmental Scientist at Golder Associates UK ltd, various studies for worldwide projects (UK) he read Marine and Freshwater at the University of Wales Aberystwyth.
